about

MDC's self financed "Houses in Forests on Hills EP" was recorded between November 2010 and July 2011. These things don't happen fast. We descended on Stewart Tavener's cow infested Xaudia studios in the driving snow, where his atomic coffee did its best to dissolve the spoon and where the control room sofa's were comfy and inviting. The creative juices flowed freely - Nic brought biscuits and classical training, Pete was convinced at gunpoint to play to a click, and Ryan's guitar was only mostly in tune - and that's rock n roll: right there.

MODERN DAY CHICANE York, UK

Likened to QOTSA meets Manic Street Preachers, with a nod towards the Northern British honesty of Oasis and Arctic Monkeys. EP out NOW! ... more
